Efi Stergiadou was born in Thessaloniki, studied general dentistry at Commenius University in Slovakia, pursued postgraduate studies in aesthetic dentistry and implantology in Athens and at the Department of Dentistry of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. She is a PhD candidate in Dentistry at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and maintains a doctor’s office in Thessaloniki, where she monitors her patients.
She deals extensively with systemic diseases with expressions in the mouth (dermatological, autoimmune, hereditary diseases), as well as in oral oncology and psychosomatic diseases with expressions in the oral cavity.
Efi advocates the Hippocratic principle that “the source of every disease is grief” and therefore in addition to solving the underlying systemic disease of each patient, focuses on psychology and its balance, and helps patients to ensure the quality of their daily lives.
She has a personal website where she solves the questions of her patients about various oral hygiene problems and gives advices on good health, well being and psychology. On social media, she raises topics about various health problems creating questions and answers about them.
