I was born and raised in Thessaloniki.
I studied at the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education at the University of the Aegean.
There, in parallel with my studies, I started my professional career in television, in the news sector as a news presenter. After finishing my studies, I attended a postgraduate program in Salamanca, Spain entitled: “Psychological Interventions in Mental Health, European Perspectives”.
I worked as a journalist and presenter on TV channels MACEDONIA, ANT1, MEGA and ALTER.
I completed my postgraduate studies at the University of East London and received a Master of Science in Clinical and Community Psychology with a specialization in Postpartum Depression and Schema Therapy. At the same time, I carried out my internship at the Human Relations Investigation Laboratory (HRIL).
I successfully completed the three-year Specialization Program in Systemic Counseling and Family Counseling at the Human Relations Research Laboratory and received the certification of Mental Health Counselor and Family Counselor.
In September 2018, I created with love and a sense of responsibility the “Center for Personal and Family Development – Rania Thraskia”, in Neo Psychiko. My therapeutic work is based on the Systemic Theory on which the Synthetic Therapy Model (SYMOSYTH) has been formed.
I am the author of the book “I look ahead” which is published by DIOPTRA publications.
