PhD, Director of Studies at MBS College of Crete
Dr. Vasiliki Avgeli holds a PhD from Brunel University in the UK, with a PhD in “Development and Promotion of ‘Village Tourism’: Perception of Involved Groups”.
She graduated from the University of Abertay Dundee with a BA (Hons) Tourism academic program. After receiving a scholarship, she obtained the MSc International Marketing with Languages Degree at the University of Abertay Dundee, UK.
Dr. Vasiliki Avgeli is the Director of Studies at the MBS College of Crete from 2018 until today. Her teaching work is 19 years in Educational Institutions in Greece and she has also taught in Educational Institutions abroad. She deals with the organization of National and International Scientific Conferences from 2008 until today.
Dr. Avgeli has 31 publications in books and scientific articles. Her research interests concern Tourism Development, Alternative Forms of Tourism, Promotion of Tourist Destinations.
