George Patoulis was born in Athens, Greece. He entered the Athens Medical School and specialized in Orthopaedic surgery at the Athens Laiko Hospital, where he also wrote a doctoral thesis. He is specialised in Health Economics and graduated from the National School of Public Health.

He was elected in the Board of the “LAIKO” Hospital, while at the same time he established the Association of the Trainee Doctors of Athens and Piraeus.

In 1997, he established the “Young Doctors” Pan-Hellenic Society and in 2002 the Association of the Freelance Doctors of Attica, where he still holds the position of the Honorary President. In 1998, he was elected municipal counsellor for the first time at the Municipality of Pefki, where he has formed the institution of Municipal Medical Centre.

In 2006, he was elected for the first time Mayor of Amaroussion in the Region of Attica. In 2010, he was re-elected with 57% and in 2014 he was again elected for the third time as a Mayor with 60%.

At the same time, he established the National Hellenic Inter-Municipal Network of Healthy Cities, while he also became the President of Association of Municipalities for the Protection and Restoration of Penteliko.

In June 2011, he was elected for the first time President of the Athens Medical Association. He was re-elected in the same post in October 2014 and October 2018, the last time achieving a percentage of 55%. In parallel, in January 2012, he became one of the founding members of the Social Mission Clinic.

In October 2014, he was elected President of Central Union of Municipalities of Greece, while in 2015 he was elected Vice President of the Council of Municipalities and Regions of Europe (CEMR), where he was elected again in December 2016.

In February 2018, he was elected President of ELITOUR.

In the Local Administration elections in 2019, he was elected Regional Governor of Attica with 66%. In October 2019, he was elected A’ Vice-President of the Association of Regions. In February 2020, he was elected Vice-President of the European Committee of the Regions (CoR) and Head of the Greek Delegation of the Committee of the Regions for the 2020-2025 term.

He has published various articles and other work in scientific medical magazines in Greece and globally.

He has a son, Alexandros.

Rescheduling of the Major Event with Caroline Myss
to April 25 & 26, 2026

The Leading Minds organization announces the rescheduling of the highly anticipated event with Caroline Myss, originally planned for November 22 & 23, 2025, to the new dates of April 25 & 26, 2026, at the same venue.

This change comes following notification from Caroline Myss herself, who faced an unexpected health issue that requires her to temporarily postpone all her international appearances.

Caroline Myss looks forward to meeting the Greek audience in April 2026, fully renewed, for an experience that will be even more meaningful and transformative.

All tickets that have already been issued remain valid for the new dates, with no further action required from participants.

Μεταφορά του μεγάλου event με την Caroline Myss στις 25 & 26 Απριλίου 2026

Η διοργάνωση του Leading Minds ανακοινώνει τη μεταφορά της πολυαναμενόμενης εκδήλωσης με την Caroline Myss, που ήταν προγραμματισμένη για τις 22 & 23 Νοεμβρίου 2025, στις νέες ημερομηνίες 25 & 26 Απριλίου 2026, στον ίδιο χώρο.

Η αλλαγή αυτή πραγματοποιείται έπειτα από ενημέρωση της ίδιας της Caroline Myss, η οποία αντιμετώπισε ένα έκτακτο ζήτημα υγείας που την υποχρεώνει να αναβάλει προσωρινά όλες τις διεθνείς εμφανίσεις της.

Η Caroline Myss ανυπομονεί να συναντήσει το ελληνικό κοινό τον Απρίλιο του 2026, πλήρως ανανεωμένη, για μια εμπειρία ακόμη πιο ουσιαστική και μεταμορφωτική.

Όλα τα εισιτήρια που έχουν ήδη εκδοθεί παραμένουν σε ισχύ για τις νέες ημερομηνίες, χωρίς καμία επιπλέον ενέργεια από τους συμμετέχοντες.
